Just Announced: #FordF150 is the 2018 Truck of the Year!
Each year, Motor Trend takes the time to explore new trucks on the market. Editors and writers dig through the details of each model to find out which one they like best. For 2018, like many years before, the Ford F-150 is Motor Trend’s Truck of the Year.
“It was a pretty resounding win,” one reviewer said. “Nothing really came close.”
The review itself praised the steady evolution of the F-150 since switching to aluminum body construction a few years back. The writers had high praise for the F-150’s varied trims, versatile engine options, and all-around impressive performance.
“Ford has been busy; the interiors have gotten nicer, the infotainment more intuitive, the steering better,” the review said. “The F-150 chassis is stupendous, the innovations have increased, and it has earned an NHTSA five-star safety rating.”
