The 2023 Ford F-150 stands up to its name being a truck that is Ford tough. With multiple trims, powertrain options, performance features, and high-tech gear, this truck is ready for both the open road and the backwoods trails.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2022 Ford F-150 is available in eight trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited Tremor, and the fan favorite Raptor. The truck is also offered in three cab styles: regular cab, SuperCab, and SuperCrew cab. Depending on the trim and configuration you choose, the F-150 is available with either a 5.5-, 6.5-, or 8-foot truck bed. Built for the trail, the Ford F-150 Tremor is the newest to the list of Ford F-150 trims. It comes standard with 4WD, a SuperCrew Cab and a 5.5-foot bed. Last but not least, after taking a year off, the F-150 Raptor is back and better than ever.
Over the F-150 lineup is equipped with sleek lines that give it a classic style, while the wide stance adds a sporty appeal. The black two-bar grille with black surround and black accents adds to an aggressive touch. Multiple upgrades are available to suit your lifestyle, including mobile generator Pro Power Onboard features, a tailgate work station, panoramic sunroof, and several unique grilles.
Engine (Power)
The F-150 is available with six different powertrain options. In addition to the usual powerful line-up of engines ranging from the base model XL's V6 Flex Fuel 3.3 Liter with 290 horsepower to the Platinum's V8 Flex Fuel 5.0 Liter with 400 horsepower, there is an all-new 3.5 liter twin-turbo V-6 EcoBoost engine with a 10-speed transmission boasting a roaring 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque. All of the engines are mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Ford Raptor is equipped with a 3.5 liter twin-turbo V-6, the Raptor has a payload capacity of 1,400 pounds and can tow 8,200 pounds.
Included in that power is a best-in-class available towing and payload. The base model XL has a payload capacity of 1,975 pounds and a towing capacity of 8,200 pounds. The V8 Flex Fuel 5.0 liter in the Platinum has a payload capacity of 2,135 pounds and a towing capacity of 13,000 pounds. From the XL to the Platinum you can load up your truck and not have to worry.
Performance
The 2023 F-150 is available with either rear- or four-wheel drive. When equipped with four-wheel drive, you'll have selectable drive modes to perfectly suit your driving conditions. When it comes to towing your trailer or boat, the F-150 has you covered. It has a maximum towing capacity of 14,000 pounds and a maximum payload capacity of 3,325 pounds. Hill-start assist and trailer sway control make for better handling when driving up inclines and towing your trailer full of tools. The all new Temor includes include 18-inch wheels with 33-inch all-terrain tires, an off-road suspension, a locking rear differential, Trail Control and more. This amazing Ford truck includes Ford's Terrain Management System with seven driving modes such as Sport, Rock Crawl and Baja. Also it includes Trail Control in which, with the push of a button, the truck manages throttle and braking.
Interior
There is seating for up to five passengers in the F-150. Depending on the trim level you choose, you'll have either cloth or leather seating surfaces, along with heated front and rear seats. Dual-zone automatic climate control ensures everyone is comfortable, while the available massaging feature adds extra comfort on long drives. Jam out to your favorite tunes as they blare through the available 18-speaker B&O sound system. The SYNC 5 touch-screen display has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration so you can access all of your apps with ease.
Safety Features
The 2023 Ford F-150 includes the Ford Co-Pilot360 suite of safety features. These standard features include a blind spot information system with cross traffic alert and trailer tow coverage, auto on/off headlamps, adaptive steering, a 360-degree camera, pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, dynamic brake support, a lane-keeping system, rearview camera with dynamic hitch assist, lane centering, speed sign recognition, evasive steering assist, and connected built-in navigation.
