The Iconic Ford Bronco Returns Spring 2020

For the first time since 1996, Ford is getting back in the saddle with one of its most popular SUVs -- the Bronco

Known for its rugged looks and go-anywhere capabilities, there is plenty of buzz around what’s in store for the next generation of this fan favorite, which aims to rival the Jeep Wrangler. We’ll know for sure what to expect as we roll closer to the 2020 Ford Bronco’s premier this Spring, but here is what we know so far.

2020 Ford Bronco Configurations
The midsize, five-passenger SUV will be available in both 2-door and 4-door models, with the option to choose a hardtop or removable top with either configuration. We can expect four primary trim levels, including the base, XLT, Limited and Platinum, though there are few details regarding features for each trim at this time. The Bronco will come with a turbocharged inline-4 and a possible V6 option, with strong potential for Hybrid powertrains.

There is even speculation that a pickup version of the Bronco can arrive in the next few years to compete with the Jeep Gladiator

2020 Ford Bronco Changes
According to Kelly Blue Book, the 2020 Ford Bronco is expected to be bigger than the original, but smaller than the F-150. The new 2020 Ford Bronco will also have more powerful engines and feature removable doors catered to thrill-seekers.

2020 Ford Bronco Technology & Amenities
All new Ford SUVs are integrated with the automaker’s safety suite Ford Co-Pilot360, which includes a lane-keeping system, parking sensors, rear view camera, trailer hitch assistance, and much more. We can also expect all the entertainment and comfort technologies that have become standard in new Fords, such as USB ports, SYNC® 3 for hands-free information control, and a quality sound system.

2020 Ford Bronco Price
Given that the Jeep Wrangler is its direct competitor, we can expect similar pricing. Its speculated that the 2-door Bronco could start at $30,000 and possibly up to $40,000 for the 4-door variation. Expect a higher ranger for higher trims.
