Buying or Leasing a New Ford Ranger Here in St Louis MO? Make It a Custom Job

The new Ford Ranger is back for 2019 all-new after a hiatus since 2011, and now that it's powered from its Wayne MI headquarters through Clayton to our dealership in St Louis, everyone has wanted to personalize it to their liking. We don't blame anyone, either. Options abound for doing so.

By Ford consumer marketing manager Chad Callander's estimation, two out of three Ford Ranger buyers' first inclinations are to install a Sport, Chrome, or STX appearances package. One in three goes on to equip the rugged FX4 Off-Road Package, bringing with it capability enhancements from an electronic locking rear differential to a Terrain Management System with Trail Control. The former optimizes the pickup's class-leading 310 pound-feet of torque for Webster Groves trips, while the latter makes navigating the diverse Mehlville area a lot easier.

Over half, though, go big on towing and hauling chops for Oakville jobs, opting for an available Trailer Tow Package incorporating a four-pin/seven-pin wiring harness and Class IV trailer hitch receiver. There are even more packages and options available, too, including, for those looking for a sinister look, a new Black Appearance Package. There's even a brand-new FX2 package available for two-wheel drive-equipped models, and you can order it now right from our dealership!

It'll feature:

  • That popular electronic-locking rear differential
  • An off-road-tuned suspension
  • Durable 17-inch or optional 18-inch off-road tires
  • The extra protection of a front underbody guard and removal of the factory air dam to enhance approach angles for maneuverability
  • An off-road cluster screen that displays pitch, roll, and yaw metrics in real-time
