The 2018 F-250 Super Duty is Reporting for Work

The new Ford F-250 pickup is the complete package, offering the dependability and capability you need with the modern technologies you want. Available in XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and Limited trim levels, the F-250 can be configured in a variety of cab sizes, with various bed lengths and either a 4x2 or 4x4 -- delivering a total of 36 possible configurations!

The F-250 features a body constructed of a high-strength, military-grade aluminum alloy that rides on an underpinning of larger frame rails and  95 percent high-strength steel cross-members. This allows the entire truck to be significantly lighter than previous generations, which in turns makes for a more efficient, maneuverable drive.

Of course, you're not thinking about getting behind the wheel of a Super Duty truck without digging into the performance numbers. The standard 6.2-liter V8 engine makes 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, while an available 6.7-liter turbodiesel V8 generates 440 horsepower and 925 pound-feet of torque.

If you pull a trailer or tend to carry a lot of gear in the bed, you'll be happy to learn that the F-250 is capable of hauling a maximum payload of 4,200 pounds and has been rated to tow up to 18,600 pounds.
